BANDI has been awarded the Detailed Construction Engineering (DCE) for the Chacao Bridge Project in Chile.

BANDI previously performed the Construction Engineering (CE) for the project and now continues its role through the DCE, which serves as the detailed design phase of the CE.

The Chacao Bridge is three-pylon suspension bridge which is landmark project that will, for the first time, connect Chiloé Island to mainland Chile. With a total length of 2,754 meters, the bridge consists of three towers and two main spans with 1,155 meters and 1,055 meters, respectively.  The bridge spans the Chacao Channel and, once completed, will become the first large-scale  suspension bridge in South America, symbolizing a major leap forward in regional connectivity and national infrastructure development.

Under the DCE contract, BANDI is responsible for the detailed construction engineering of main cable and bridge deck, as well as the detailed design of the temporary structures for bridge erection.

Our work focuses on delivering optimized, safe, and constructible engineering solutions for one of the most technically demanding infrastructure projects, given the structural complexity of a three-pylon suspension bridge.

This contract marks a major milestone in BANDI’s global expansion and reflects our commitment to delivering world-class engineering solutions that drive innovation in infrastructure development.
